MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Job Description

Westport has long been a pioneer in sustainability—whether it was the first town east of the Mississippi to ban single-use plastic bags, one of the first towns to declare “We Are Still In” when it was announced that the US would be withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, or having the first fully electric police car on the East Coast.

Sustainable Westport, a former town-appointed committee of the Town of Westport and now a fully independent 501c3 organization, is leading the way as it inspires and equips the community to act now on sustainability  across five pillars (Community, Buildings, Energy, Transportation, Resources & Waste Management).

Join Sustainable Westport as a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager, spearheading our brand-building efforts and expanding our reach. In collaboration with the Co-Directors, you will lead Sustainable Westport’s marketing and communication strategies that aim to educate and inspire action toward a greener, healthier Westport community.
