1. Compost it at home! If you have a compost bin at home, you can put your pumpkin in it and it will turn into beautiful compost! For best results, cut it up into smaller pieces before adding it to your compost bin.
2. Bring all your old pumpkins to the Westport Transfer Station and dispose of them with the food scraps.
3. Consider purchasing a variety that can be used for cooking after it serves it’s decor purpose.
